Intelligent track referencing
A/B your master against reference tracks directly within any instance of the app or its standalone application. Now an integrated process, track referencing is easy, intelligent, and incorporated into Ozone’s workflow. Load up to 10 tracks and Ozone will identify sections of references like a Verse or Chorus for easy playback, so you can spend less time searching through references and more time mastering.
Maximum Independence
Transient/Sustain Stereo Independence in Ozone’s Maximizer takes your master to the next level by detecting and separating transient and sustain information for a wider, deeper sonic profile. Transient Stereo Independence reduces pumping, introduces fewer artifacts, and leaves you with more of the sound you want, without narrowing your stereo image.

Great experiences are made with great design. That’s why It`s made workflow improvements across the board. Work faster and more instinctively between mix and master with a similar workflow in the program and Neutron 3, with beautiful visualizations, metering, and more fluid controls.

A subtle but important fix users have been asking for, you can now “text scrub” in Ozone 9 just like in previous versions. This is useful if you want to make small adjustments to the gain of an EQ node and not change its frequency, or vice versa. The controls “lock” in place when you’re adjusting, keeping your field of view clear while evaluating your moves.

Catalina support!

If you’re intending to update to Mac OSX Catalina, rest easy knowing that Ozone 9 is now fully supported therein. Happy mastering!
